HoodPay
Documentation
Everything you need to open a HoodPay card, fund it, and spend anywhere Visa is accepted.
Introduction
HoodPay issues virtual Visa cards funded with crypto. No KYC, no paperwork, no approval queue. Pick a balance, send a stablecoin deposit, and your card is ready in minutes to spend online and through Apple Pay and Google Pay. A card is a self-contained spending instrument. You fund it once at issuance; the balance is available for payments the moment the deposit confirms.
Getting Started
Issuing a card takes four steps and under two minutes: open the card modal from anywhere on the site with the Get card button, choose a card balance and the token you want to pay with, enter the email where your card details will be delivered, and send the exact deposit amount to the address shown. Your card is issued on confirmation.
Funding a Card
Every order generates a unique deposit address and an exact amount to send. The exact amount is how we match your incoming transfer to your order, so send the amount shown down to the last decimal. Once confirmed, the card is created automatically.
Tokens & Networks
Cards are funded with stablecoins. Supported combos: USDT on TRON (TRC20) — default, lowest fees; USDT on Ethereum (ERC20); USDC on Ethereum (ERC20). Send only the token on the network shown for your order.
Fees & Limits
Pricing is flat. A card can be issued from $5 with a $2 service fee plus a small processing fee shown on the payment step. There are no monthly fees, no subscriptions, and no hidden charges.
Using Your Card
Once issued, use your card for any online purchase where Visa is accepted, or add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay for in-store and in-app payments. Recurring subscriptions are supported.
Swap
Use the built-in Swap page to bridge and swap assets across chains, including Robinhood Chain, before funding a card.
Security & Privacy
HoodPay is non-custodial at the point of funding. We never ask for KYC documents. Sessions and card details are end-to-end encrypted.
API
A programmatic API is available for partners. Reach out via the support page to request access.
